I had nothing planned for the afternoon, so I decided to sit down and write. I ended up getting so engrossed in my work that I wrote for another four hours straight. It was an intense and exhilarating experience. I was completely immersed in writing this book because I knew I was getting everything right. Once, someone asked me how long I work in the morning, and I joked that I stop when my head goes into atrial fibrillation. I can actually feel it when it happens, and that's my cue to take a break. But this time, I powered through it. Writing truly keeps me going; it fuels my passion and gives me a sense of purpose.
