Three weeks later, he contacted me with devastating news—he had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
Concerned, he asked, "Is this going to be a problem?" Unfortunately, the answer was disheartening. He was unable to purchase insurance at that point, leaving him without coverage. It's moments like these that truly sting. If only he had obtained the policy earlier, he would have been protected.
I've also come across stories involving life insurance. One particular incident involved a man in Alaska who neglected to pay his life insurance premium and kept it a secret from his wife. Tragically, he passed away while scuba diving. When his grieving wife reached out to me, we discovered that his policy had lapsed, leaving their two young children vulnerable.
