Doctors speak out: the importance of autonomy and EMR efficiency in healthcare #shorts

As a healthcare professional, I often find myself thinking about ways to improve the workflows that physicians face on a daily basis. In my ideal world, one of the things I would love to see happen is the implementation of offloaded scribes. From what I've seen in other institutions, scribes have been found to be extremely useful in streamlining documentation and allowing doctors to spend more face-to-face time with our patients.

Another area that I believe could use improvement is EMR efficiency. As it stands, we often find ourselves clicking through multiple screens and menus just to complete a single task. I would love to see a system where we could click less and accomplish more.

Finally, there's the issue of autonomy. As doctors, we want to be able to maintain a certain level of autonomy over our schedules and have the flexibility to give patients the time they need. This is something that is important to me, and I believe it is something that should be prioritized in any healthcare workflow.
