The importance of being a better patient: my personal experience with COVID-19 #shorts

Don't make the same mistake I did: speaking from personal experience, I didn't handle COVID-19 the way I should have. I thought I could just "tough it out" on my own, without reaching out for help from my primary care physician. But when a colleague noticed how poorly I was doing, even over the phone, I realized the importance of taking care of yourself and seeking medical assistance. I know that accessing healthcare can be difficult, but it's crucial to not let that discourage you.

I wrote this article with the hope that others will learn from my experience and not be afraid to reach out for help. Being a better patient and getting the care you need can make a huge difference in your recovery. Don't let pride or fear hold you back.
