As a physician, it's shocking to see how little some of my colleagues understand their worth in the industry. Just yesterday, I was speaking with someone who has been practicing for six years and they were surprised to learn that they should be compensated for supervising mid-level practitioners and taking on excessive call. It's time for physicians to recognize the value of their hard work and expertise.
